Exit the M4 at Junction 29 and take the A48(M) towards Cardiff. Watch out for the stationary speed camera a mile or so after the third exit. Ignoring the slip road to the University Hospital of Wales on your right (big daffodil on the building!) take the fourth exit which is sign posted M4-City Centre. Take the right hand lane on the slip road and follow the roundabout around to the fourth exit. Stay in the right hand lane with the flyover on your right. Follow the road markings for the A469 and Caerphilly (you will need to branch over to the right quite quickly watching out for merging traffic from your right and will have a restaurant/pub called EAST on your right).

Follow this road through a number of sets of traffic lights until you come to a mini roundabout. Turn right at the mini roundabout (Safeway will be on your right). Stay on this road and it will bend around to the right and then the left. The Tax Office will be on your right, and then an Industrial Estate. Keep going, and Llanishen Sports Centre is on the left.
